We have traced our family tree back to 1721. There was three brothers that came over from England and settled in Long Island, New York. After the Revolutionary War in 1776 two brothers moved to Canada and the other remained in the US. Any information from the Canada side would be of great intrest to me. Thanks Mark, (858) 454-2000

Found more information. My connection through Rose Orsmond Darling.She married Archibald Biggins. His mother Eliza Laming is my connection. Eliza's father James Henry Laming b.1829 from Kingsdown Kent England. Brother to my 3rd generation grandfather.

My grandfather, three times removed, was baptized as a youth at Humbie Parish Church in East Lothian about the year 1805. Shortly thereafter, he came to America.

Hello Darlings,

While I currently live in the arctic, my most immediate Darling family hails from southern Ontario, Canada. My grandfather died in the early eighties and my grandmother still lives in London, Ontario. I have one uncle still in London, Ontario, another living in Portugal and many cousins throughout southern Ontario. My father currently lives on Thetis Island in British Columbia. I have a sister living in Ottawa.
