Regarding an earlier message I now have more information regarding my grandmother jean darling who may in fact be Jane darling as this fits with our knowledge that she grew up in battersea, London, England. Her father was Robert (Thomas?) Robinson who married susan darling, all living around wands worth, battersea, clap ham. Does anyone know any history of Susan or jean (Jane?)

Hey, Im Lukas and I've had some issues in finding some geoligic data on the Darling side of my family. Is there any chance that in any of your records you have found a branch of the Darling family in Pensylvainia or West Virginia in around the early 1800's? If so please contact me, I am in urgent need of this information.
Thank you.

Hey all!!

I accidentally stumbled onto this page trying to find the name of a location my dad mentioned before he passed away.

I am a member of the Galashiels branch, dad moved over to Ayrshire when he was in his teens. He was right into his geneaology and has traced the family back centuries. Now all his files sit gathering dust in my mum's loft.

Without giving too much away....there's some fantastic surprises in store for you geneaology enthusiasts!! And the old cementaries in Gala are a great resource!!

This is like a miracle! I've been hunting for my Darling relatives for years. My great great grandmother was Elizabeth Charlotte Darling married to Thomas Saunders. The artistic genes have continued down through the generations.
