Hi, I'm trying to trace my family tree, my name is Patrick Darling, I live in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
The names Robert and James run through the tree for over 100 years.
I have traced Darling family to Fermanagh,
Anyone that can help me with more information, I would really appreciate it.
Cheers, Pat

Hello, thank you for the website. I was always told that the Darling portion of my heritage is from Ireland. I've seen Scottish, English and Irish. I've also researched that the name originated in England but migrated to Ireland over 500 years ago. Then portions of the family migrated to Scotland and Ireland; eventually the New World. I've been told my portion came into Canada. I've also seen records of Darlings in Australia and New Zealand. How Fascinating! Any "old time" pics available?

Great website. I'm descendant of Dennis Darling and Hanah Francis.I noticed a post by Don Darling from Michigan with the same lineage. It would be nice to know if he has any history further back. Any more reunions in the panning?

My mother's maiden name was Darling. Her mother was married to Samuel Darling from Wakefield, one of a long line of Yorkshire Darlings including Ted Darling of. Black & White Minstrel fame and his brother John Wakefield (stage name) an operatic tenor very well known in the 50s and 60s.
Thanks for letting me look at your site and keep up the good work!
